Prototype Augments Leveling – The Division 2

• Quantum gives a small chance to become temporarily immune to damage, and Echo gives each bullet a chance to deal its damage a second time.
• Atomize widens grenade radius and damage; Amalgam, Trapper, Entropy, Anomaly, Paradox and Synesthesia complete the pool of nine.
• Rerolling and upgrading both consume Prototype Cores, which come mainly from dismantling Prototype Gear.

• Augment Levels: a slider in three bands, 1 to 3, 3 to 6 and 6 to 10.
• Number Of Augments: 1 to 15 pieces.
• Platform: choose PC, PlayStation or Xbox so the leveling is done on the right account.

• Quantum (small chance of temporary immunity), Echo (bullets may hit twice), Atomize (bigger, stronger grenades).
• Amalgam (hits may apply a random status effect), Trapper (longer status effects you apply), Entropy (Health from a share of Armor).
• Anomaly (skills heal for part of their damage), Paradox (chance to refill part of the magazine), Synesthesia (hits may trim skill cooldowns).

• Character level 40 or higher.
• Prototype gear already prepared for leveling on the Agent.

Do Augments work everywhere?

No. In Raids and the Incursion Prototype Augments are disabled and stats are normalized, and PvP applies its own balance values to them.

Can an Augment be changed?

It can be rerolled for a different effect, and you choose whether to keep the new result or the old one.
