Sever is a Necromancer Core Darkness skill: a specter of you charges forward and then swings its scythe at the target. In Season 15 the build plays almost as a one-button setup, with Bone Storm, a Golem and Skeletal Mages taking care of Attack Speed, Critical Strike Chance, Vulnerable and Essence. Patch 3.2.1 made its projectile hit the main target more consistently and strengthened the Reaping Lotus upgrade. This lot levels the Necromancer and builds it for the Torment tier you choose.

How Sever plays

Cast Bone Storm before a pack, then Sever into it; the Teb and Wat runes apply your curses on the way.
Throw the Golem at the most dangerous enemy for Unstoppable and fresh corpses, and resummon Skeletal Mages when they fall.
Corpse Tendrils gathers crowd-controlled enemies, Blood Mist moves you between packs, and Blood Transfusion gives Immunity against boss mechanics.
Upgrades: Reaping Lotus sends three extra specters at the apex, Inexorable Reaper makes Sever a dash, and Cold Pursuit adds Cold damage and a second attack on another enemy.

Gear and Talisman

Bloodless Scream, used as a Unique Charm, makes Darkness skills Chill and hit Frozen enemies and bosses harder, and Peace of the Black Shroud adds damage over time and Damage Reduction to Darkness skills. Hangman's Hand raises Sever damage and sends an extra specter. Crown of Lucion and Ring of Starless Skies balance each other's resource effects, and Signet of Pelghain adds Cold scaling for a crowd control style. Mythic order: Ring of Starless Skies, Blood-Mad Idol, Blood Moon Breeches, Crown of Lucion, Hangman's Hand, Lidless Wall.

What the tiers include

All tiers include leveling to 70 and Legendary Aspects on the gear, Seasonal or Eternal. Torment IV (Paragon 150+) adds Unique items, Greater Affixes, a charm set, Glyph and Paragon board leveling and masterworking, while Torment XII (Paragon 250+) adds Mythic items. Torment I (Paragon 50+) and Torment X (Paragon 225+) round out the choice. The lot does not commit to specific Uniques.
