How the critical strike build runs

Cast Bone Storm first, then Corpse Tendrils to pull enemies in and make them Vulnerable.
Spam Bone Spear; Aspect of Rapid Ossification cuts the Bone Storm cooldown as you spend Essence, and since 3.2.1 it also raises Bone skill damage by 20%.
Skeletal Mages in their Shadow form keep Essence flowing, Sever is the escape and movement skill, and the Golem gives Unstoppable.
Stat order on gear: Critical Strike Chance, Essence generation, Maximum Life, Attack Speed.

Bone Spear also has variants that change its skill type: Shadow Splitter makes it a Darkness skill that forks, and Blood Spear makes it a Blood skill that raises a second spear from a corpse.

Gear and Talisman

Deathless Visage got a larger echo in 3.2.1 and adds Critical Strike Damage to Bone Spear. Aspect of Glynn's Anvil gives defense once Resolve stacks are capped, Aspect of Shielding Bones supplies Resolve, Blood Moon Breeches spread curses, and the Lidless Wall shield spawns extra Bone Storms. The Talisman runs Art of the Bone Weaver, whose Quintessence buff after spending Essence on Bone skills raises Critical Strike Chance and Damage, with Rustbitten Dirk as a Unique Charm. Mythic order: Deathless Visage, Blood Moon Breeches, Lidless Wall.

Leveling from 1 to 70 and Legendary Aspects are in every tier, on the Seasonal or Eternal realm.
