What each mode collects

Event Keys: a slider from 1 to 200. A key comes from 14 Moon Cultist kills on Normal or Hard, 12 on Challenging and 10 on Heroic.
Boss Kills: Necromancer (always a mask, then an Exotic Cache at 80% or Sarru at 20%) and Risen Hunter (mask, then an Exotic Cache or Vertigo at 20%); Bloody Houndsman drops a mask, gloves, backpack, uniform and a Bat Drone VFX but no key.
Revenant Bounties: 1 to 30 bounties; each gives one key, a 50% chance of a themed arm patch and an Exotic Cache at 80% or the bounty's exotic at 20%.
Red Moon Altars: 1 to 20 altars; each altar can be destroyed once a day and pays Gear Cache loot.
Full Event Completion: all event content in one order, with the scope agreed with the team in chat.

Event loot to know

The six Revenant Bounties are Blinding The Eye (Eagle Bearer), Final Girl (Regulus), Binding Circle (Steel & Sons), Rubber and Glue (Vindicator), Scarecrow (Prima Donna) and Dousing the Light (The Bighorn). The Gear Caches hold the new Lichtenberg rifle at 7%, seasonal exotics at 25%, seasonal Named items at 30% and special Named items at 20%. Daily reset is at 08:00 UTC.

Which mode should I pick for exotics?

Bosses and bounties roll for a named exotic: Necromancer, Risen Hunter and every Revenant Bounty give it at 20% against an Exotic Cache at 80%. Gear Caches opened with keys also hold seasonal exotics at 25%.

Do Event Keys carry over after the event?

No. Unused Event Keys are removed when the event ends on 3 November.
