Grand Gryphon: The Silence, last quest of Operation: Shieldwall
The Silence, the final quest of the Operation: Shieldwall campaign, rewards the Grand Gryphon, a flying mount for the Alliance from patch 5.1.0 (Landfall, 27 November 2012). The quest is listed in Kun-Lai Summit, and learning the mount also teaches the Horde equivalent, the Grand Wyvern. The keen eyesight of gryphons lets them see over vast distances and warn their riders of any dangers ahead.
