Amazing experience
Exactly what I was hoping for. The booster was professional and super polite. Highly recommend.
This build pairs two Necromancer damage-over-time tools. Blight is a Core Darkness skill that hits once and leaves a defiled area dealing Corrupting damage over time; Corpse Explosion detonates corpses, and its Miasma upgrade makes it a Darkness skill that releases a lingering cloud instead of a blast. Patch 3.2.1 raised the base damage of Corpse Explosion from 110% to 180%. The lot levels the Necromancer and gears it for the Torment tier you pick.
| Class and resource | Necromancer, Essence; Corpse Explosion consumes Corpses |
|---|---|
| Blight | Core Darkness skill dealing Shadow damage, leaving a defiled area that deals Corrupting damage over time |
| Blight variants | Piercing Darkness (pierces, extra defiled area, more damage to Bosses), Whirlpool (Cold and Frostbite, pulls, lower Essence cost), Volatile Blood (Blood skill, Physical burst) |
| Corpse Explosion | Corpse and Profane skill that detonates a Corpse |
| Corpse Explosion variants | Miasma (also a Darkness skill, Corrupting damage cloud), Shrapnel (also a Bone skill, 8 piercing bone shards), Bloody Mess (larger, stronger blast) |
| Patch 3.2.1 changes | Corpse Explosion 110% to 180%, Miasma 210% to 350%, Shrapnel 110% to 180%; Blight Piercing Darkness +75% damage to Bosses; Whirlpool Essence cost -10; Exhumation Glyph gains a Lucky Hit chance to form a Corpse |
| Darkness Talisman set | Peace of the Black Shroud: Darkness skills deal extra Corrupting or Frostbite damage over time, bonus Shadow and Cold damage |
| Key items | Ebonpiercer (Blight fires extra piercing projectiles), Ring of Starless Skies, Crown of Lucion, Tibault's Will |
| Talisman expansion | Charms and Seals belong to the Talisman, which requires the Lord of Hatred expansion; every Lord of Hatred edition includes Vessel of Hatred |
| Season 15 setups | Published Season 15 setups run Blight (Shadow damage over time with Ebonpiercer) and Corpse Explosion (Shrapnel with Howl from Below) as separate builds |
The published Season 15 setups run the two as separate builds, so the manager agrees with you after payment how they share the skill bar.
Ebonpiercer makes Blight fire extra piercing projectiles that carry its damage over time, so the build wants enemies packed tight; Corpse Tendrils pulls them together. Sever with Inexorable Reaper doubles as a dash, and the Golem breaks crowd control with Unstoppable. Blight starts out Cold while leveling and switches to Shadow damage in the endgame.
Leveling from 1 to 70 and a Legendary Aspect on each gear slot are part of every tier. Torment IV (Paragon 150+) brings Unique items, Greater Affixes, a charm set, Glyph and Paragon board leveling and masterworking, and Torment XII (Paragon 250+) adds Mythic items, with Torment I (Paragon 50+) and Torment X (Paragon 225+) as the other options, Seasonal or Eternal. Which Uniques you end up with is not fixed. Once the setup is agreed in live chat or Discord, we assign a booster.
