Waypoints are the fast-travel network of Diablo 4: once a waypoint is active you can teleport to it instead of walking or riding. This lot activates the waypoints of the regions you tick: Fractured Peaks, Dry Steppes, Hawezar, Kehjistan, Scosglen and Skovos, the island region of Lord of Hatred, or all six regions in one order. Each region holds between six and eight waypoints, its capital included.

Key facts

FunctionActive waypoints allow fast travel within and between regions
Fractured Peaks7 waypoints; capital Kyovashad
Dry Steppes8 waypoints; capital Ked Bardu
Hawezar6 waypoints; capital Zarbinzet
Kehjistan6 waypoints; capital Gea Kul
Scosglen8 waypoints; capital Cerrigar
Skovos8 waypoints; capital Temis; Lord of Hatred region
Campaign skip (patch 2.5.0)Characters that skip the base or the Vessel of Hatred campaign unlock all non-Stronghold waypoints of that campaign's regions
Stronghold waypointsSome waypoints become available only after a Stronghold is cleansed
Renown20 per waypoint on the Eternal Realm; Renown was removed from the Seasonal Realm in patch 2.5.0

Waypoints per region

  • Fractured Peaks: 7, with the capital Kyovashad.
  • Dry Steppes: 8, with Ked Bardu.
  • Hawezar: 6, with Zarbinzet.
  • Kehjistan: 6, with Gea Kul.
  • Scosglen: 8, with Cerrigar.
  • Skovos: 8, with Temis.

What you get

  • The waypoints of every region you select, activated on your character.
  • On the Eternal Realm each waypoint adds 20 Renown to its region; Renown is gone from the Seasonal Realm since patch 2.5.0.
  • Some waypoints sit inside Strongholds and only appear once the Stronghold is cleansed.
Note: since patch 2.5.0 (11 December 2025), a character that skips the base or the Vessel of Hatred campaign gets every waypoint of that campaign's regions except the Stronghold ones. Check your map before ordering.

Requirements

  • The story campaign completed on any character on the account.
  • Skovos needs the Lord of Hatred expansion.

Waypoints FAQ

Is Nahantu on the list?

No. The order form covers the five original regions and Skovos; Nahantu, with its six waypoints, is not part of this lot.

Do waypoints count for Renown on a seasonal character?

No. Renown was removed from the Seasonal Realm in patch 2.5.0, so there the waypoints serve only for travel. On Eternal they are one of six Renown sources, next to Strongholds, side quests, discovered areas, dungeons and Altars of Lilith.

Where are the Skovos waypoints?

On a chain of connected islands off the western coast of Nahantu, around the capital Temis.
