Blacklisters are exotic kneepads added in Year 7 Season 2.3: The Pact. Their talent, Ostracize, is a high-risk damage trade. Shooting an enemy marks it for 15 seconds or until it dies; while the mark lasts, that enemy hits you for 600% amplified damage, and every unmarked enemy takes 30% amplified damage from you.

Key facts

Talent	Ostracize: shooting an enemy applies one mark (15 s or until it dies); the marked enemy deals 600% amplified damage to you, and unmarked enemies take 30% amplified damage from you (20% before Title Update Y8S3.2, 13 October 2026)

Blueprint	Kill Squads during Black Tusk Retaliations

Ostracize in practice

Only one mark can be active at a time, and shooting a new enemy places it on the new target.
The best marks are enemies in the backline or behind cover, which give you more time to use the damage bonus on the others.
If only one enemy remains in combat, the mark disappears and cannot be applied again.

Where it comes from

The Pact's Climax Mission on Master difficulty rewards the kneepads. The same kneepads also drop from kneepads targeted loot, and the blueprint comes from the Kill Squads of Black Tusk Retaliations.

In the Dust Storm caches

During the Dust Storm event (21 July to 11 August 2026) the Gear Caches carried Blacklisters in a 15% exotic group together with Caduceus, Nurse's Kneepads, Tinkerer, Tempest, Sheriff, Provocator and Birdie's Quick Fix.

Requirements

Your Agent must be level 40.

Blacklisters Kneepads FAQ

Is the 600% real?

Yes. That one marked enemy hurts you six times as much, so the kneepads are meant for players who control which enemy gets marked.

Did a recent update change the talent?

Yes. Title Update Y8S3.2 on 13 October 2026 raised the amplified damage against unmarked enemies from 20% to 30%; the 600% from the marked enemy is unchanged.

Where do the blueprints come from?

From defeating the Kill Squads of Black Tusk during their Retaliations.
