Beacon is an exotic chest piece added in Year 7 Season 3: Mutiny. Its talent, Bond, rewards staying close to teammates: when an ally is within 10 meters, you and your allies get +30% critical hit damage, +15% skill efficiency and +2% armor regeneration. The core is weapon damage (up to 15%), with critical hit chance (6%) and critical hit damage (12%) as secondary stats.

Added in	Year 7 Season 3: Mutiny
Sources	Exotic Caches; exotic blueprint from Rikers Kill Squads during Retaliation

Bond, in two tiers

Ally within 10 meters: +30% critical hit damage, +15% skill efficiency, +2% armor regeneration for you and the ally.
One of your skills within 10 meters instead: a lower group for you, +15% critical hit damage, +8% skill efficiency, +1% armor regeneration.
Only the higher group is active at any time, so a skill next to you never adds on top of an ally.

Where it comes from

Beacon drops from Exotic Caches. Its exotic blueprint is a reward for eliminating Rikers Kill Squads during the Rikers Retaliation, which is the way to craft a copy without cache luck.

Requirements

Your Agent must be level 40.

Beacon Chest FAQ

Does the bonus work when I play alone?

Partly: a skill within 10 meters gives the lower group of bonuses, so a solo player still gets +15% critical hit damage.

Which season added Beacon?

Year 7 Season 3: Mutiny.

Can I craft Beacon?

Yes, with the exotic blueprint that the Kill Squads of the Rikers Retaliation drop. Exotic Caches are the other source.

What are its other attributes?

Critical hit chance up to 6% and critical hit damage up to 12%, next to the weapon damage core.

What counts as a skill within 10 meters?

A deployed skill of yours standing next to you. It gives the lower group of bonuses: +15% critical hit damage, +8% skill efficiency and +1% armor regeneration.
