Collector is an exotic chest piece from Year 5 Season 2: Puppeteers, built around grenades. Its talent, Hoarder, grants +3 grenade capacity, +50% grenade radius and +35% grenade damage, and a grenade deals another +25% damage for each extra enemy caught in the blast. Grenades also regenerate on their own: every 30 seconds you get one if you carry fewer than 2.

Where it comes from

Collector is part of the general exotic pool, so Exotic Caches and chest targeted loot can drop it. Exotic Caches are sold at the Countdown Requisition Station for 224 tokens and are also rewarded by certain main missions and Incursions on their highest difficulty. It is one of the older chest exotics, from the Puppeteers season (Title Update 19), and is not tied to a current event.

Other exotic chests

Tardigrade Armor System, added with Warlords of New York on 3 March 2020.
Ridgeway's Pride, assembled from parts collected while climbing The Summit.
Beacon, from Year 7 Season 3: Mutiny.
Iron Will, a reward of the Red Horizon Season Pass.

Requirements

A character at the 40 level cap, on PC, PlayStation or Xbox.
