Where it comes from

The kneepads drop from Exotic Caches. Their exotic blueprint is a reward for completing the Hyenas Retaliation. In the Dust Storm event (21 July to 11 August 2026) they were also in the 15% exotic group of the Gear Caches. Since Red Horizon the kneepads are also in Targeted Loot and in the special loot pool of the PvP Dark Zones, and Inaya sells the blueprint to Agents who own them.

In the Dust Storm event the Gear Caches had a 15% exotic group that listed Caduceus, Nurse's Kneepads, Tinkerer, Tempest, Blacklisters, Sheriff, Provocator and Birdie's Quick Fix, so the kneepads shared a pool with several other exotics.
