Patch 3.0.2 raised its drop chance to 1% a kill, and patch 4.0.3a moved the drop to Lord Aurius Rivendare, the boss who replaced the Baron in Stratholme. This lot is the farm for that one drop on your character.

What the drop is
- A ground mount, and account-wide, so every character on the account can summon the horse once it is learned.
- The reins bind when picked up and are unique, so only one can exist per player.

With a flat 1% roll, the chance of at least one drop is about 50% after 69 kills, 63% after 100 and 95% after 300. These figures are plain arithmetic, not a delivery time.

Can a drop in a shared group reach my character?
Yes. The game lets loot from a dungeon be traded to eligible members of the same group within its loot-trade window after it drops.
Is it the same horse as the Classic Stratholme drop?
The horse is the same. In Classic it dropped from Baron Rivendare; since patch 4.0.3a the boss carrying it is Lord Aurius Rivendare.
