The power of Fields of Crimson

Rupture's rip instantly deals a rolled share of the total Bleeding damage on an enemy, and it removes all Bleeding damage from that enemy. The sword turns a damage-over-time effect into a burst, and it carries a fixed skill rank for Rupture.

Affixes and gear details

With Lord of Hatred, Uniques carry fewer preset affixes, which leaves more room to chase a better combination. Since patch 3.1.0 every Unique drops with two fixed affixes, and on Fields of Crimson they are Weapon Damage and Skill Ranks to Rupture. It is class-locked: only the Barbarian can equip it. Unique items can be tempered, and since patch 3.1.0 Enchanting can alter the affixes of Unique and Mythic Unique items.

Where it comes from

Fields of Crimson is part of the loot table of Lord Zir, a Lair Boss found at the Darkened Way, east of Kyovashad in the Fractured Peaks; the boss element type is Fire. The fight needs Torment 1 or higher, and 1x Lair Key opens the Hoard after the kill. The Barbarian part of that table also lists Twin Strikes.
