Werewolf Tornado Druid Build is a Druid levelled to 70 and built around Tornado cast in Werewolf form. Tornado is a Storm skill, and since patch 3.0.0 a shifting choice node lets Storm skills stay Human or turn Werewolf at no Skill Point cost. Patch 3.2.1 made the Fleshrender Unique boost every Tornado, not only returning ones. Four tiers are on offer, Torment I (Paragon 50+) through Torment XII (Paragon 250+), on a Seasonal or Eternal realm.

How the Tornado build plays

  • Tornado is thrown toward enemies and splits into Mini Tornadoes when it collides with them. It works from range, but the Fang and Claw Glyph rewards staying close to strong enemies.
  • Fleshrender's Tornado bonus rose from 40-50%[x] to 100-135%[x] in 3.2.1, and the item heads the Mythic craft list ahead of Ifeh's Dire Totem.
  • The build starts slow: Rabies gives single-target damage and Cataclysm area damage until Set Charms and Aspects arrive.
  • In the endgame Storm Shepherd's Call converts the large Spirit income into damage, and Grizzly Rage stays up through Cooldown Reduction and the Calm Before the Storm boon of the Snake spirit.
  • For pushing, the Song of the Old Mountain set can replace Storm Shepherd's Call, with Stone Burst applying Petrify so damage splashes onto nearby enemies.

Tier contents

Each tier starts with leveling from 1 to 70 and Legendary Aspects for the gear slots. Torment IV (Paragon 150+) brings in Unique items, Greater Affixes, Masterworking, levelled Paragon boards and Glyphs and a Charm Set. Torment X (Paragon 225+) keeps that list with more Paragon levels, and Mythic items belong to Torment XII (Paragon 250+) only. The lot does not promise particular Uniques such as Fleshrender. Tornado is set to Werewolf through its choice node, and Charms with ranks to Werewolf skills help keep Grizzly Rage up. Hurricane and Cyclone Armor never change your form.

Spirit, Dominate, Fang and Claw, Earth and Sky and Outmatch, each to its Legendary bonus.
