How Perfect Head Scratcher works

Perfect Head Scratcher builds on the Confuse status effect: a confused enemy takes 35% amplified damage from this rifle, and every third kill confuses the following target. The Urban MDR is a semi-automatic rifle, so the talent suits steady, single-target work such as picking down enemies one by one. The regular Head Scratcher talent amplifies by 30% and needs 4 kills.

The ordinary talent behind Perfect Head Scratcher is Head Scratcher; the perfect version on Brain Break is the improved form, fixed on the weapon.

Brain Break FAQ for buyers

Does Confuse work on every enemy?

Confuse is a status effect, so it is subject to the usual resistance of elite and boss enemies. Against regular enemies the talent chains from kill to kill.

How is it different from Insult to Injury?

The talent is identical. Insult to Injury puts Perfect Head Scratcher on a light machine gun, while Brain Break puts it on a semi-automatic rifle.

What are the in-game sources of Brain Break?

It appears as rifle targeted loot since Into the Dark.
