Purist SMG

Purist is the skill-free submachine gun. Perfect Streamline gives a weapon damage bonus while no skills are deployed or on cooldown, and the Converted SMG-9 A2 adds a high rate of fire and a 32 round magazine on top. The catch is obvious: reviving yourself with a Revive Hive or dropping a turret turns the bonus off until the cooldown is over, so players who run Purist plan their skills around it.

Streamline is what an ordinary weapon rolls, while Perfect Streamline is the upgraded form that only named items carry.

• One Purist for the platform you pick in the order: PC, PlayStation or Xbox.
• Choose between Piloted and Self-play (Sherpa) in the method option.
• With 'High Stats (90%+)' the weapon's rolled attributes come in at 90% or more of the top value.
• Prototype is the quality above High-End and named gear: the upgrade costs one Prototype Core and needs the item at maximum Expertise.
• Quantity covers 1 to 10 copies of the weapon in a single order.

• Level 40 on the Agent that is going to receive the weapon.
• For 'Upgrade to Prototype': the weapon must be at level 40 and at maximum Expertise (level 30).

Which skills break the bonus?

Every one. A deployed skill or a skill that is still recharging switches Streamline off, including support skills such as a Hive.

Why take it over Lud?

The talent is identical. Purist is the submachine gun for close fights, while Lud is an assault rifle with a longer effective range.

How is Purist found in the game?

Submachine gun targeted loot is the usual route, and its blueprint comes from Reconstructed Caches.
