Fossilized Raptor: an Archaeology artifact
The Fossilized Raptor is a rare Archaeology artifact: finding it takes 150 Archaeology skill, and solving it takes 100 Fossil Archaeology Fragments. Once the bones are assembled, the creature springs back to life as a ground mount. Patch 4.0.3a (The Shattering) added it on 23 November 2010, and patch 9.0.1 set its level requirement to 17. The journal tells of a raptor cursed to wander Azeroth until it apologizes for snarling at the young Tyrande Whisperwind.
The dig work is agreed with a manager, in live chat or on Discord, including the character's Archaeology skill.
