Beast in Marvel Rivals: Not Playable (October 2026)
Beast is not a playable hero in Marvel Rivals. As of 12 October 2026 the official heroes page at marvelrivals.com lists 54 heroes, and Beast is not one of them. NetEase has not announced him, shown him in a trailer or named him in a season roadmap. Anything you read about his "abilities" or "best builds" is invented.

Who Beast is in the comics
Beast is Dr. Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy, first seen in X-Men #1 (September 1963) as one of the five original X-Men. He is a mutant with superhuman strength, agility and reflexes, a blue-furred appearance with fangs and claws, and a genius-level mind: he holds doctorates in biophysics and genetics and acts as the X-Men's physician. He has also served with the Avengers and the Defenders.
That mix of brawler and scientist is why fans keep asking for him. It is also why nobody can say what his Marvel Rivals version would do: the character fits a melee fighter, a support hero or a tank equally well.
What has been reported (unconfirmed)
- Datamine lists. A September 2026 roundup of upcoming heroes by turbosmurfs.gg places Beast in a long list of datamined internal names with no role, season or other detail. The same article states that NetEase has confirmed no unreleased hero by name.
- An earlier X-Men leak. A leak reported by the French site Gameblog listed Beast with Gambit, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Jubilee. Three of those five (Gambit, Rogue, Jubilee) have since been released; Beast and Nightcrawler have not.
- Role guesses. Some outlets suggest Beast could be a Vanguard or a Strategist. That is speculation, not data.
Treat all of this with caution. NetEase has said it does not plant fake files for dataminers, but leakers have mistaken early experiments for finished heroes. A name in the files does not mean a release.

How the closest heroes actually play
These descriptions come from the community wiki; check the in-game hero page for current numbers.
- Wolverine. A passive called Berserker Rage builds rage as he fights, which strengthens his claws. Regenerative Healing Factor gives him bonus health when he would otherwise die, on a long cooldown that shortens with each kill. Feral Leap and Vicious Rampage close distance, Undying Animal cuts incoming damage for a few seconds, and his ultimate Last Stand launches enemies and slams down. He also has a Team-Up with Hulk or The Thing in which they throw him at the enemy.
- Hulk. Starts as Bruce Banner with a weak pistol and a grenade, and the ultimate turns him into Hulk; as Hulk he punches, fires Gamma Burst, uses Indestructible Guard to shield himself and allies, and leaps. A second ultimate state, Monster Hulk, doubles his health for a short time.
If the Beast appeal is "the brainy bruiser", Hulk's two-form design is the nearest thing in the game, and Wolverine is closest if you mean the claws and agility.

Is Beast coming in Season 11?
Nobody outside NetEase knows. The studio has said Season 11 brings new hero content but has not named the hero. Wait for an official reveal before believing any release date.
Why do so many sites describe Beast's abilities?
Because they are written from the comics or invented to match search traffic. If a page lists named abilities and cooldowns for Beast, ask where the numbers come from; there is no official source.
