The Marvel Rivals Creator Program: What It Is (and Isn't)

The Marvel Rivals Creator Program is NetEase's way of working with streamers and video makers. It is a programme for content creators, not for ordinary players, and it is not a "support a creator" code system. Public information is thin. What is documented dates from 2024; as of 12 October 2026 we found no open application call.

What was announced in 2024

The programme grew out of the game's alpha and beta tests. NetEase asked creators to apply during the closed beta recruitment window and described the aim as helping creators grow their channels and build a welcoming community. In May 2024, creators involved in the alpha reported a contract that restricted disparaging or satirical comments about the game. On the third day of the Closed Alpha, the official Marvel Rivals X account apologised for the "excessively restrictive terms" and said the agreement would be revised to be less restrictive and more creator-friendly. The programme itself was described as a small-scale project giving creators extra resources and encouraging honest feedback, positive or negative.

Do not confuse it with

  • Creator codes. Epic's Support-A-Creator in Fortnite and Rocket League lets players enter a code at purchase so a streamer earns a share. We found no equivalent in Marvel Rivals. See creator codes.
  • Esports partner programmes. NetEase's Ignite Team Partners Program invited professional organisations to apply for one of 12 founding slots; its application deadline was in January 2026. It is about teams, not streamers.
  • Twitch Drops. Season patch notes list drop windows (Season 10: 11 September to 9 October 2026). Those are rewards for viewers.

If you want to apply

  1. Follow the official Marvel Rivals X account and site for a new call. We found no source that lists an always-open application page.
  2. Read the agreement before you sign anything, including clauses on criticism and exclusivity. The 2024 dispute is the reason this is worth saying twice.
  3. Treat third-party "creator program" pages and paid access offers with suspicion; ask for the official announcement link.

Streaming the game safely

Whether or not you are in the programme, a few settings help any streamer: turn on Streamer Mode so names and chat stay off screen, keep the voiceover subtitles readable for viewers, and use highlights for clips instead of recording long gameplay with other players' names visible. Twitch Drops, when the game runs them, require a linked Twitch account on the viewer's side; the exact rules are in each season's patch notes.

If you are a player

Nothing to apply for. If a creator mentions a program benefit, check that it is an official in-game reward; the game's own store and event pages list what is real. For streaming safely, see Streamer Mode.
