Replay Codes in Marvel Rivals: What Exists and What Doesn't

Marvel Rivals lets you rewatch your recent matches from the History screen, and every match there has a match ID. What we could not find, as of 12 October 2026, is an official, documented feature where you type or paste a "replay code" to load someone else's game. A code of that kind appears in a Season 10 leak about the new report system, but NetEase has not confirmed it.

How to watch a past match

  1. Open your profile icon at the top right of the main menu and go to History. Guides also place it in the Career menu; the layout has shifted between versions.
  2. Filter by mode (Quick Match, Competitive and so on) and click the match you want. The scoreboard opens first.
  3. Start the replay. Players report being able to use a free camera and to switch between player views, with the function keys F1 to F12 cycling perspectives on PC.

Replays are rendered by the game itself rather than saved as video, so community members warn that older ones can stop playing correctly after a hero or balance update. If a match matters, record it.

Match ID and Favourites

On the final scoreboard, players describe a match ID number with a star next to it. Clicking the star adds the match to your Favourites. In the Favourites tab there is a sub-tab that switches between highlights and saved match replays. The match ID can be told to a friend, but we found no source confirming that the game can open a replay from an ID typed in by someone else, so do not assume a shared ID will load.

Highlights

Highlights are separate from full replays. After a match, click a player on the end screen to view that player's highlights. From your own profile, the Match Replays and Highlight tabs sit side by side. Choose Save under a highlight and confirm the settings; by default the file goes to your computer's Videos folder. Console players should check platform capture settings, as the options differ.

The "Replay Code" leak

On 10 September 2026, the day before Season 10, the site GameRiv reported a leak by X0XLEAK describing a "Report System 2.0". In the leaked screen, a player with no shared match history with the person they are reporting can attach a Match Share Code or Replay ID as evidence, plus up to 200 characters of notes, and would get the result by in-game mail. The article itself says NetEase has not confirmed it, and the official Season 10 and 10.5 patch notes do not mention it in the parts we read. Until NetEase publishes it, treat "replay codes" as unconfirmed.

Reporting a player from a replay

A system that does exist: open the match in History, press Esc once the replay starts, open Settings and choose Report. Guides list reasons such as inappropriate nickname, throwing, cheating, and text or voice chat abuse. Include a short note about the minute the problem happened.

FAQ

Can I send my replay to a coach?

Not as a file. The practical options are to share your screen, send a recorded video, or tell the coach the match and have them check your scoreboard stats.

How long do replays last?

Not documented. The community treats them as temporary and likely to break across updates.

Where are the highlights saved?

In the Videos folder on PC by default, unless you change the destination when you save.
