The power of Ancients' Oath

Enemies hit by Steel Grasp take increased damage from you for 9 seconds. The axe adds a damage window to Steel Grasp, and the size of the bonus is rolled on each drop.

Affixes and gear details

With Lord of Hatred, Uniques carry fewer preset affixes, which leaves more room to chase a better combination. Since patch 3.1.0 every Unique drops with two fixed affixes, and on Ancients' Oath they are Weapon Damage and All Damage Multiplier. It is class-locked: only the Barbarian can equip it. Unique items can be tempered, and since patch 3.1.0 Enchanting can alter the affixes of Unique and Mythic Unique items.

Where it comes from

Ancients' Oath is part of the loot table of Andariel, a Lair Boss found at Hanged Man's Hall, east of Tarsarak; the boss element type is all elements. The fight needs Torment 1 or higher, and 1x Greater Lair Key opens the Hoard after the kill. The Greater Lair Key comes from defeating Initiate Lair Bosses. The Barbarian part of that table also lists Emblem of Staalbreak and Hellhammer.

What you get

Optional Greater Affixes: none, or 1 to 4 on the item.
