Damage per point of Fury

Skills deal increased damage for every point of Fury you have. At a high Fury bar that adds up to a large multiplier on everything you cast.

The price is a drain. Season 15 changed it: the sword now drains 7% of your Maximum Fury instead of a flat 10 Fury per second, and only while you are in combat. Out of combat the sword does not drain it.

Fury in short

Fury is the Barbarian's resource. Basic skills generate it and Core skills spend it, so a build around this sword has to keep generating more than the drain and the spending take away. Moving the drain from a flat number to a share of the maximum makes it scale with the size of your Fury bar, so a character with a large pool pays more per second than a small one. The sword always drops with Weapon Damage and a Maximum Resource affix, the second of which fits the same idea.

Patch 3.1 fixed the sword not applying its bonus to Ancient summons from Call of the Ancients. A Unique Charm version of the sword exists.
