Lair Boss Kill points the order at one boss of the ladder and repeats it, from 10 up to 500 kills in steps of 10. The list holds all ten Lair Bosses of Season 15, from Initiate bosses such as Grigoire up to Belial, Lord of Lies. Each boss favours its own set of Uniques, so the pick decides which items you chase, and the matching key for every Hoard is part of the order.

Loot and rewards

  • A Hoard rolls from the boss's weighted Unique pool and the general pool, and grows larger and better on higher Torment tiers.
  • Patch 3.2.1 made Mythic Uniques from Initiate and Greater Hoards roll from that boss's own pool, raised the Initiate Mythic rate to the Greater level and slightly raised the rates of Greater bosses and Belial.
  • Belial's Hoard asks you to pick a ladder boss and then uses that boss's loot table.
  • The gold, Gem Fragments and crafting materials picked up during the kills stay on your character.

Requirements

  • A level 70 character on the realm and mode you choose.
  • The selected Torment tier unlocked; every Lair Boss needs Torment I or higher.

Lair Boss Kill FAQ

Do Initiate kills give anything besides gear?

Yes. Initiate bosses drop Greater Lair Keys, and a ladder Hoard can trigger Belial's ambush, which drops a Superior Lair Key.
