Perfect Soft Spot explained

Achilles pairs a semi-automatic .45 ACP rifle with the perfect form of Soft Spot. Because the rifle fires quickly enough to follow up, the weakpoint bonus is easier to use here than on the bolt-action Instigator that shares the talent. The bonus lasts 15 seconds, long enough to carry it from one weakpoint target to the next.

On a normal USC .45 ACP the same idea would show up as Soft Spot. Achilles comes with Perfect Soft Spot, the perfect form, locked in.

Prototype conversion needs the rifle at level 40 and at maximum Expertise (level 30).

Achilles: quick FAQ

Does the talent need headshots?

No. Perfect Soft Spot is triggered by destroying a weakpoint, not by a headshot kill, so aim at the highlighted spot rather than the head.

Why is Achilles listed as a rifle and not an assault rifle?

The Division 2 sorts it into the rifle class, the semi-automatic group, which is separate from assault rifles and marksman rifles.

Where can Achilles be found in the game?

It joined the general loot pool with The Pact and also drops as rifle targeted loot.
