Dare Light Machine Gun

Perfect Flatline turns the Pulse status effect into a damage amplifier. Enemies marked by a pulse take 20% more weapon damage from Dare, and after 2 kills the next enemy you shoot is pulsed by the weapon itself, so the bonus can sustain itself without a Pulse skill. A Pulse skill still helps in boss fights, where kills are rare. The GR9 frame is a belt-fed light machine gun with a very large magazine.

Flatline is what an ordinary weapon rolls, while Perfect Flatline is the upgraded form that only named items carry.

• Platform choice: PC, PlayStation or Xbox, and Dare goes to that account.
• Completion Method: Piloted or Self-play (Sherpa).
• With 'High Stats (90%+)' the weapon's rolled attributes come in at 90% or more of the top value.
• Prototype is the quality above High-End and named gear: the upgrade costs one Prototype Core and needs the item at maximum Expertise.
• Quantity goes from 1 to 10, so several copies fit into one order.

• A character that has reached level 40.
• For 'Upgrade to Prototype': the weapon must be at level 40 and at maximum Expertise (level 30).

Do I need a Pulse skill to use it?

Not strictly. The talent pulses the next enemy after every second kill on its own, but a Pulse skill covers fights where kills come slowly.

What does the perfect version change?

The regular Flatline talent is the standard version of the same idea; the perfect form on Dare is the stronger one that only named items carry.

How is Dare found in the game?

Look for it among enemy drops, vendor stock and weapon chests, or farm an activity whose targeted loot is light machine guns.
