Stacks build while you move, 5 per second up to 100, and each headshot adds 15 stacks plus 20% movement speed for 5 seconds.
At the stack cap the next shot is the payoff: 200% bonus damage plus a 2-second Shock.
The M1A platform is semi-automatic, so each shot lands as a deliberate hit rather than a spray.

Where it comes from

Lichtenberg is found in the Gear Caches of Red Moon Unleashed, which run from 15 October to 3 November 2026. The regular rifle makes up 7% of the cache pool and a Prototype version another 1%. Event Keys open the caches, and keys come from Moon Cultist kills, the Necromancer and Risen Hunter bosses and Revenant Bounties.

Options on this lot

High Stats (90%+): the weapon's attribute values are all taken from the top tenth of the possible range.
Upgrade to Prototype: an extra step that makes the rifle Prototype gear, with a stat ceiling above the normal one.
