Gorehowl, Might of the Warchief is an epic two-handed axe from the Dragonflight dungeon Dawn of the Infinite, added in patch 10.1.5. It drops from the Time-Lost Battlefield boss, an infinite battle between Horde and Alliance forces in the Immemorial Battlefield. The axe uses the updated Warlords of Draenor Gorehowl model.

The Time-Lost Battlefield encounter

  • Alliance players face Grommash Hellscream, who fights with Gorehowl in hand.
  • Horde players face Anduin Lothar and his Lion's Fang. The encounter is mechanically the same on both sides.
  • Mechanics include extra enemy combatants from For the Horde/Alliance, a Bladestorm that chases a marked player and a Shockwave.

Orc characters who wield the axe and chose the Warsong banner as part of the Heritage of Draenor can summon the ghost of Grommash Hellscream.

What the order covers

The order is a series of Dawn of the Infinite runs ending at the Time-Lost Battlefield on your character. The manager agrees the schedule in live chat or Discord. When you and the booster are grouped in Dawn of the Infinite, a Gorehowl, Might of the Warchief that drops can be traded across within the two-hour window.
