Every Legion artifact weapon has a hidden appearance that is not on the weapon's normal list of looks. Unlocking the first one earns the achievement Hidden Potential, and each hidden look comes with three more tints on top of the base colour. Each spec's unlock is different: the Outlaw Rogue's Thunderfury, for example, comes from the quest reward Emanation of the Winds.

How the three tints are earned
- Second colour: complete 30 dungeons.
- Third colour: complete 200 world quests.
- Fourth colour: kill 1,000 enemy players.
Each counter only starts once the hidden appearance itself is unlocked, and the rule is the same for every class.
Requirements
- A character of the class whose artifact you want the hidden look for, with the spec named.
- The artifact weapon of that spec, since the tints apply to its hidden appearance.
