The power of 100,000 Steps

Ground Stomp deals increased damage through these boots, and a second bonus is added on top that grows with the distance you have covered since the previous Ground Stomp, up to a cap. A Barbarian who keeps moving between stomps collects the full bonus, while one who stands still only gets the smaller flat part. Both values are rolled on each drop.

Affixes and gear details

With Lord of Hatred, Uniques carry fewer preset affixes, which leaves more room to chase a better combination. Since patch 3.1.0 every Unique drops with two fixed affixes, and on 100,000 Steps they are Primary Core Stat and Skill Ranks to Ground Stomp. It is class-locked: only the Barbarian can equip it. Unique items can be tempered, and since patch 3.1.0 Enchanting can alter the affixes of Unique and Mythic Unique items.

Where it comes from

100,000 Steps are part of the loot table of Echo of Varshan, a Lair Boss found at the Malignant Burrow near the Tree of Whispers Waypoint in Hawezar; the boss element type is Shadow / Physical. The fight needs Torment 1 or higher, and 1x Lair Key opens the Hoard after the kill. The Barbarian part of that table also lists Overkill.
