The power of Herald's Morningstar

Blessed Hammer deals increased damage, and a Lucky Hit effect gives it a chance, with a rolled maximum, to spawn a base Blessed Hammer on the target it hit. Both values are rolled on each drop, and the mace also carries a fixed skill rank for Blessed Hammer.

Affixes and gear details

With Lord of Hatred, Uniques carry fewer preset affixes, which leaves more room to chase a better combination. Since patch 3.1.0 every Unique drops with two fixed affixes, and on Herald's Morningstar they are Weapon Damage and Skill Ranks to Blessed Hammer. It is class-locked: only the Paladin can equip it. Unique items can be tempered, and since patch 3.1.0 Enchanting can alter the affixes of Unique and Mythic Unique items.

Where it comes from

Herald's Morningstar is part of the loot table of Urivar, a Lair Boss found in Nahantu, near the Kichuk Waypoint; the boss element type is Fire. The fight needs Torment 1 or higher, and 1x Lair Key opens the Hoard after the kill. The Paladin part of that table also lists Cathedral's Song.
