Bonus damage on isolated targets

You deal increased damage to isolated enemies. The bonus applies to a target that stands apart from the pack, which makes the dagger a boss, elite and straggler weapon more than a clearing weapon.

Patch 3.1 fixed the dagger recording its bonus when you swapped to another copy of the same weapon, so the bonus follows the dagger you actually hold.

Who can wield it

The dagger is restricted to the Sorcerer, Druid, Rogue, Necromancer and Warlock; the Barbarian, Spiritborn and Paladin cannot equip it. It always drops with Weapon Damage and an All Damage Multiplier, so both of its fixed affixes push damage up as well, in line with a power that is only about damage.

Isolated means the target is separated from other enemies. In a pack fight the bonus will not apply to the enemies in the middle, so the dagger suits play against bosses and against monsters that you pull away from their group.
