Diablo 4 March of the Stalwart Soul Paladin Boots

The unique power raises the damage of Advance and adds 3 Skill Ranks to the skill. The same power makes Advance travel twice as far as it normally does, so a single cast covers double the ground.

Nothing else on the boots changes how other Paladin skills behave, so they pay off in a build that casts Advance often and wants it to be a real damage source and not only a way to cross the screen.

Advance is a Basic Paladin skill. It lunges forward with your weapon for damage and generates Faith, the Paladin's resource. Basic skills are the ones you cast over and over between spenders, so a boost to the damage and range of Advance changes the part of the rotation that gets repeated most. Its upgrade list in the game data offers choices such as Wave Dash, Flash of the Blade and Vanguard's Rush.

One upgrade fits the boots especially well. Wave Dash gains 1 Resolve for every meter you dash, so doubling the travel distance doubles the Resolve a single cast can gather, up to the limit on Resolve charges. Vanguard's Rush adds a Fervor stack for each strike and more damage per stack, while Flash of the Blade makes Advance a dash that cuts through enemies and applies Vulnerable.

• Slot and class: Boots, usable by Paladin.
• Fixed affixes: it always drops with Primary Core Stat and Skill Ranks to Advance.

• Torment I difficulty unlocked.
• A Paladin character to wear it. The Paladin is one of the two classes added by the Lord of Hatred expansion.

Which class can wear March of the Stalwart Soul?

Only the Paladin. It is a Paladin unique, and the class itself comes with the Lord of Hatred expansion.

Where do the extra Advance ranks come from?

From two places on the same pair of boots: the unique power adds 3 Skill Ranks to Advance, and the boots also always drop with a Skill Ranks to Advance affix.
