Brandish all around you

Brandish unleashes in all directions, dealing 120-160% increased damage. Patch 3.1 raised the damage bonus from 60-80%, and the Season 15 notes list no change.

Hitting all directions turns Brandish into a surround attack, so it is useful when you are in the middle of a pack. The doubled damage bonus makes the Basic skill a main source of damage and not only a way to build Faith.

Brandish in short

Brandish is a Basic Paladin skill that generates Faith: you brandish the Light and unleash an arc of damage. Its upgrades include Cross Strike (two additional arcs), Returning Light (the light comes back and hits again), Faith Generation (5 extra Faith) and Cast Speed (20% faster). The sword always drops with Weapon Damage and Skill Ranks to Brandish.

Since Brandish is the Basic skill, it keeps generating Faith while the sword's bonus applies, so the damage comes without a resource cost.
