Diablo 4 Strike of Stormhorn Sorcerer Unique Focus

Ball Lightning deals increased damage and explodes for 40% of its total damage when dissipating. The explosion is therefore based on everything the ball dealt while it moved.

A ball that spends a long time near many enemies collects more damage, so the final blast grows with how well the cast is placed.

Ball Lightning is a Mastery skill of the Sorcerer that costs Mana. It discharges a ball that moves forward slowly and zaps enemies continuously. The game data lists upgrades such as Multiple Projectiles (a 20% chance to form a second ball), Crackling Energy (three Crackling Energy when it dissipates), Orbital (the ball circles you) and Implosion, which makes it a Pyromancy skill with a cooldown. The focus always drops with a main stat and Skill Ranks to Ball Lightning.

The Crackling Energy upgrade forms three Crackling Energy at the moment the ball dissipates, so it happens together with the explosion. A focus is an off-hand item, which means the Sorcerer can wear it together with a one-handed weapon.

• Slot and class: Off-hand focus, usable by Sorcerer.
• Fixed affixes: it always drops with Primary Core Stat and Skill Ranks to Ball Lightning.

• Torment I difficulty unlocked.

Which class can use Strike of Stormhorn?

Only the Sorcerer. It is an off-hand focus.

What does the explosion damage depend on?

It is 40% of the total damage the ball has dealt, so it scales with how long the ball lives and how many enemies it touches.
