The power of Greatstaff of the Crone

Claw gains all of its Variants for free and deals increased damage. In Season 15 the notes raised that damage bonus from 60-80% to 120-150%. The staff also carries a fixed skill rank for Claw.

Affixes and gear details

With Lord of Hatred, Uniques carry fewer preset affixes, which leaves more room to chase a better combination. Since patch 3.1.0 every Unique drops with two fixed affixes, and on Greatstaff of the Crone they are Weapon Damage and Skill Ranks to Claw. It is class-locked: only the Druid can equip it. Unique items can be tempered, and since patch 3.1.0 Enchanting can alter the affixes of Unique and Mythic Unique items.

Where it comes from

Greatstaff of the Crone is part of the loot table of Echo of Varshan, a Lair Boss found at the Malignant Burrow near the Tree of Whispers Waypoint in Hawezar; the boss element type is Shadow / Physical. The fight needs Torment 1 or higher, and 1x Lair Key opens the Hoard after the kill. The Druid part of that table also lists Autumnal Crown and Stone of Vehemen.
