Seeds of Hatred are the raw PvP loot of Diablo 4. Monsters, events and chests in the two Fields of Hatred drop them, and you can loot them from players you kill. They stay at risk until you purify them into Red Dust at an Altar of Extraction: die and they fall to the ground for anyone to pick up, leave the zone and they disappear.

How Seeds are farmed

Elite packs give a few hundred Seeds each; the roaming Abomination boss gives a few thousand, but other players come for you while you fight it.
Baleful Chests hold Seeds and regular loot, and they open only while you are marked for blood.
A marked player you kill drops all the Seeds they carried.

Marked for blood

You can enter the Fields peacefully and fight only monsters, or mark yourself for blood with the emote wheel and become a target for every other marked player.
The mark is removed at the Altar of Cleansing in town.
Starting a purification ritual alerts the players in the zone, who can try to kill you before it ends.
PvP there is not built to be fair: there is no system for even fights, so groups hold a zone best.

What you get

Seeds Of Hatred: a slider from 1,000 to 5,000 in steps of 1,000.
The lot has no realm or mode option; the character is agreed with the manager after payment.

Note: Seeds cannot be carried out of the Fields of Hatred. Only the Red Dust they are purified into stays on your character, so tell the manager if you want the Seeds purified.

Requirements

A character that can travel to the Fields of Hatred.
On Hardcore, a death in the Fields of Hatred is permanent.

No. Once the ritual turns Seeds into Red Dust, the dust is bound to you and stays with you on death.
