The Sheriff drops from General Anderson in the United Ironworks mission. On Heroic and lower it is a farmable chance, and the first completion on Master difficulty gives it for sure. Its blueprint comes from defeating Black Tusk Kill Squads or from finishing a faction Retaliation. The shotgun was also among the rare exclusive exotics of the Rise Up Stretch Goal caches (June 2026) and in the exotic group of the Dust Storm Gear Caches (July to August 2026).
