Perfect Brazen in a fight

Thorn is the pump-action SPAS-12 with Perfect Brazen: if at least four pellets hit, the next shot gains amplified damage that grows with the number of pellets that connected, and a kill adds a bonus on top. Pump action means a slower rate of fire than the semi-automatic Like Glue, so each shot has to be placed well. Landing most of the spread on a single target is the whole point of the talent.

On a normal SPAS-12 the same idea would show up as Brazen. Thorn comes with Perfect Brazen, the perfect form, locked in.

FAQ about Thorn

Why use a pump-action with this talent?

Each shot carries more weight when you fire slowly, so the amplified follow-up is a big payoff for a well-placed blast.

What is the magazine size?

The base SPAS-12 holds eight shells, loaded one by one.

Where can Thorn be found in the game?

Shotgun targeted loot is the focused route; otherwise it falls from enemies, vendors and weapon chests.
