Crucible Engrams

• The game data describes the Crucible Engram as an engram with complex markers that contains a random Legendary Crucible weapon or armor piece.
• Crucible Ops weapon engrams are listed in Gear Tiers 1 to 5 and contain a Gear Tiered Crucible Ops weapon.
• Update 9.7.0 states that tiered focusing at Lord Shaxx uses Crucible engrams, and that the Competitive Crucible gear he focuses needs Crucible Ciphers from the Competitive playlist.

In Crucible Ops the tier of a reward follows the performance grade of the match: a C grade gives Tier 3, a B grade Tier 4, and an A grade or above Tier 5. Update 9.7.0 also states that Power does not affect the grade thresholds or the score multiplier, and that the multiplier at maximum Crucible Rank is 1.23x.

Crucible Ops now holds the 6v6 rotator, the 3v3 rotator, Rumble and Private Match. The 6v6 modes are Mayhem, Rift, Relic, Momentum, Scorched, Supremacy, Clash, Zone Control and Hardware Mix, with Iron Banner modes added during the event. The 3v3 modes are Survival, Heavy Metal, Elimination, Hardware Mix, Arena Collision, Lockdown and Clash. Private Match pays none of the Crucible Ops rewards.

• Number Of Engrams: from 1 to 30.
• Extras: Self-play (Sherpa). Completion speed: Normal, Express or Super Express.

• An active Destiny 2 account.
• A platform subscription may be needed for matchmade playlists on some platforms.

What does a Crucible engram contain?

A random Legendary Crucible weapon or armor piece, as the engram text in the game data reads.

Does Power change the tier of the reward?

No. The grade thresholds and the score multiplier do not depend on Power, so the tier follows how well the match went.

Are Competitive rewards the same thing?

Not quite. Update 9.7.0 replaced the seasonal Competitive weapon with Competitive Gear, drawn from a pool of weapons and armor.
