Warlord's Ruin arrived on 1 December 2023 with Season of the Wish. Bungie's activity data describes a Dark Age castle in the mountains of the European Dead Zone, claimed by the Scorn, and an icy summit where Hefnd's Vengeance waits. One to three players can enter. The dungeon needs the Lightfall Dungeon Key, part of Destiny 2: The Collection.

Loot
- Exotic: Buried Bloodline, a sidearm. Zira's Shell, a ghost shell, is another exotic item of the dungeon.
- Catalyst: according to Bungie's data, the Buried Bloodline catalyst comes from solving a catalyst puzzle in the dungeon, and finishing it means getting kills with the sidearm and helping other players with their own puzzle.
- Weapons: Indebted Kindness (sidearm), Naeem's Lance (sniper rifle), Vengeful Whisper (combat bow) and Dragoncult Sickle (sword).
- Armor and title: an armor set, and the Wrathbearer title.
Lot types in this section
The base services are Warlord's Ruin Dungeon, a Master Warlord's Ruin Dungeon run and a Solo Flawless run. Buried Bloodline is sold on its own, with a catalyst lot, and in a Buried Bloodline Supreme Bundle. Two larger packages exist as well, the Warlord's Ruin Definitive Bundle and the Warlord's Ruin Armory Bundle. The four legendary weapons have a lot each, and the armor appears as Warlord's Ruin Armor. The Wrathbearer lot covers the title.
Choices on the main lot
The main lot spans six variants. Normal and Master can each be run as the whole dungeon or as the final boss alone, and the two solo variants, Flawless and not, complete the set. Options include secret chests and all ten of Hefnd's Bones, an order can add a Buried Bloodline run, and the character count runs from one to three.
Requirements
Entry takes the Lightfall Dungeon Key or The Collection, so every lot here assumes that access. A solo Flawless clear means one player finishing alone without a death. The Master variants are for characters that have the strength for the harder tier.
Place in the Destiny 2 timeline
Bungie counts Warlord's Ruin in Year 6, the Lightfall year, together with Ghosts of the Deep, Root of Nightmares and Crota's End. The Lightfall key opens both dungeons of that year.
