Eye of Sol is a Kinetic Sniper Rifle for the Kinetic slot that uses Special ammo. The game describes its Adaptive Frame as a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy, and the 9.7.0 anti-Champion table gives Adaptive weapons the Barrier stun. The rifle has been released more than once; this lot is the tiered version from Update 9.7.0, whose Tier 5 ornament is called Eye of Sol.

Left column: Moving Target, Slickdraw, Triple Tap, Demolitionist, No Distractions, Lone Wolf and Rewind Rounds. Right column: Opening Shot, Snapshot Sights, Firing Line, Kinetic Tremors, Aggregate Charge, Closing Time and Adhesive Ordnance. Kinetic Tremors sends out a shockwave after sustained Kinetic damage to one target, and Adhesive Ordnance loads a sticky explosive round when you collect ammo, which detonates shortly after impact and applies exhaust. Origin: Fleet Footed, Roar of Battle or Wild Card, the last one giving final blows a chance to spawn experimental submunitions.

Upgrades and sources

Gear Tier 2 enhances the two trait columns, Tier 3 unlocks enhanced mods, Tier 4 enhances the barrel and magazine, and Tier 5 enhances the origin and adds the ornament and a Combat Flair. Trials of Osiris drops it from its Tier 1 to 5 gear engrams, the attunement list can raise its drop chance, and Saint-14 focuses it up to Tier 4.
