Nightshade is a Strand Pulse Rifle for the Kinetic slot that uses Primary ammo. Its intrinsic is the Lightweight Frame, a handling-focused frame that also lets the wielder move faster while it is equipped.

Perks and upgrades

The current version rolls Outlaw, Under Pressure, Keep Away, Slice, Moving Target, Lucky Shot and Lead From Light in trait column 1, and Headseeker, Kill Clip, Hatchling, Moving Target, Feeding Frenzy, Desperate Measures and Eye of the Storm in trait column 2. Its barrel perks such as Arrowhead Brake, Chambered Compensator, Corkscrew Rifling, Extended Barrel, Fluted Barrel and Full Bore and its magazine perks such as Extended Mag, Alloy Magazine, Appended Mag, Armor-Piercing Rounds, High-Caliber Rounds and Ricochet Rounds vary from drop to drop. The reissued version has a Gear Tier Upgrade slot, part of the Weapon Tier Upgrading system added in the Monument of Triumph update.

What does the Weapon Tier option change?

Gear Tiers run from 1 to 5 on Legendary weapons. You can pick Tier 3, Tier 4 or Tier 5 here; higher tiers unlock stronger upgrade options such as enhanced traits and enhanced origin traits, and Tier 5 adds prestige cosmetics. A tier can also be raised later through Weapon Tier Upgrading, which does not add perk options to columns that already rolled.

What changes between the three perk levels for Nightshade?

With 'Roll with random perks' the drop decides the perks. A roll with 1 chosen perk fixes one perk and a God Roll with 2 chosen perks fixes two; you name them and a pro player is told which.

How many rolls of Nightshade can I order?

The Rolls slider runs from 1 to 30 and applies to 'Roll with random perks'.
