Warlord's Spear is a Legendary Arc trace rifle on the Adaptive Frame, so it fires a steady beam that rewards tracking rather than precision bursts. It runs on Special ammo from the Energy slot. The rifle first came out with Episode: Heresy activities in 2025; Heresy is in the Content Vault now, and the copy you can get today sits in Lord Saladin's Legacy Gear, carrying the Skulking Wolf origin trait. That puts the order inside an Iron Banner week: 20 to 27 October 2026 is live, then 17 to 24 November.

What you get

As many Warlord's Spear copies as the Rolls slider says (1 to 30).
Weapon Perks: Roll with random perks, Roll with 1 guaranteed perk or God Roll with 2 guaranteed perks.
No tier choice: the Legacy Gear Warlord's Spear carries no gear tier.
Iron Banner matches played toward Saladin's rank, with whatever event gear they drop.

The trace rifle's perk pool

The third column can roll Dynamic Sway Reduction, Envious Assassin, High-Impact Reserves, Rewind Rounds, Hip-Fire Grip or Loose Change. The fourth column holds Desperate Measures, Killing Tally, Jolting Feedback, Target Lock, Fourth Time's the Charm and Detonator Beam, which makes Jolting Feedback and Detonator Beam the Arc-flavoured picks for clearing groups. Pick Roll with 1 guaranteed perk and each perk on your list comes on a separate copy. Want two of them on the same weapon? Choose God Roll with 2 guaranteed perks instead. Send the perk names in live chat or Discord once the order is paid. The farm starts in about 1 hour and one roll takes about 2 hours.

Requirements

An active Iron Banner week; the event sits between two weekly resets and comes back every four weeks.
The account has finished A Guardian Rises and Lord Shaxx's Light Reforged quest and has met Lord Saladin in the Tower.
No expansion is needed for Iron Banner; a free-to-play account must be SMS-verified.

Warlord's Spear FAQ

Does it still drop in Episode activities?

No. Episode: Heresy content was vaulted, so Saladin's Legacy Gear is where the rifle comes from now.

Is it a Strand or Arc weapon?

Arc. The current version is an Arc trace rifle in the Energy slot.
