Fury in, a guaranteed crit out

After spending 30 Fury within 5 seconds, your next non-Channeled Core or Weapon Mastery Skill cast within 5 seconds becomes a guaranteed Critical Strike with bonus Critical Strike Damage. The Fury you spend above 30 adds a further 1% to that bonus for each point.

Season 15 lowered the Fury requirement from 100 to 30 and added the per-Fury bonus. The old requirement was more than three times as high, so the new ring triggers far more often.

What counts for the ring

The ring looks at two skill groups, Core skills and Weapon Mastery skills, and it excludes Channeled skills, which cast over time. Weapon Mastery for the Barbarian covers Steel Grasp, Death Blow, Rupture and Mighty Throw in the game data, so a guaranteed critical hit on one of those skills is where the ring pays most. The ring always drops with a Critical Strike Damage Multiplier next to the main stat.

Both timers are 5 seconds: one for the Fury you spend and one for the skill that follows. If you spend your Fury and then wait, the window closes without giving the bonus.
