Among the submachine guns of The Division 2, Emeline's Guard stands out for Perfect Preservation. The base weapon is the P90. Kills repair your armor over time, and headshot kills repair even more.
| Item type | Named High-End submachine gun |
|---|---|
| Base weapon | P90 |
| Talent | Perfect Preservation |
| Talent effect | Kills repair armor over time; headshot kills repair more |
| Standard version of the talent | Preservation |
| Obtained from | Enemies, vendors, weapon chests and submachine gun targeted loot |
Perfect Preservation ties survival to kills. Each kill repairs a share of your armor over a few seconds, and a headshot kill adds an extra repair on top, so a run of clean kills keeps the plates up. The P90 behind Emeline's Guard has a very high rate of fire and a large magazine, which suits crowd fights where kills come fast. It wears the unique Prairie skin.
Perfect Preservation is the perfect form of Preservation. Named items carry the stronger perfect version, so the ordinary Preservation on a regular P90 drop is the weaker sibling.
A headshot kill adds a second repair on top of the repair every kill gives, so aiming for the head gives the larger armor return.
Its very high rate of fire produces kills quickly, and every kill triggers the repair, so the talent is used often.
Enemies, vendors and weapon chests all carry it, and submachine gun targeted loot can roll it as well.
