The Pinpoint Slug Frame defines how it handles: "Fires a single-slug round. This weapon's recoil pattern is more predictably vertical." Its origin trait, Winterized Gear, means stability, reload speed and handling build up after a stretch out of combat and fade again once the fight resumes.

Trait column one of Bonechiller can roll Butterfly, Lead from Gold, Auto-Loading Holster, Triple Tap, Repulsor Brace, Threat Detector and Lone Wolf. Trait column two can roll Meganeura, Demoralize, Destabilizing Rounds, Precision Instrument, Adagio, Opening Shot and Rampage. Every one of these trait perks has an enhanced version. The barrel slot offers eleven options and the magazine slot eight.

Two of those perks, as the game words them:

• Triple Tap: Rapidly landing precision hits will return one round to the magazine.
• Precision Instrument: Dealing sustained damage increases precision damage.

Collections lists exploring Europa as the place where Bonechiller started out. With Update 9.7.0 Bungie refreshed the rewards of destinations from before The Edge of Fate with new perks and gear tiers; the perk pools above are the refreshed ones.

• Bonechiller through the Weapon Perks option: a roll with random perks (1 to 30 rolls), a roll with 1 chosen perk, or a God Roll with 2 chosen perks.
• You tell a pro player the perks you want: one perk such as Demoralize, or two together such as Demoralize and Repulsor Brace.
• Weapon Tier: Tier 3, Tier 4 or Tier 5. Higher tiers add perks and enhanced mods; Tier 5 adds special traits.

• An active Destiny 2 account.
