Chivalric Fire Sword (Ritual)

The Caster Frame defines how it handles: "Heavy attack: Launch a heavy projectile attack. Heavy attacks are stronger with full energy." Its frame family also gives it the intrinsic Barrier anti-Champion effect that Update 9.7.0 attached to every archetype. The origin trait Vanguard Determination reads: After using your class ability, final blows with this weapon grant you bonus damage resistance.

Trait column one of Chivalric Fire can roll Relentless Strikes, Repulsor Brace, Dimensional Shift, Tilting at Windmills, Sharp Harvest, Collective Demolition and Strategist. Trait column two can roll Attrition Orbs, Destabilizing Rounds, Eager Edge, Whirlwind Blade, Collective Action, Energy Transfer and Flash Counter. Every one of these trait perks has an enhanced version. The blade slot offers five options and the guard slot five.

Chivalric Fire is a Solo Ops weapon: the Solo Ops attunement menu lists it among Fair Judgment, Veles-X and Ascendancy, and Commander Zavala lists it under actively dropped Solo Ops gear for Vanguard focusing. Its ritual release, once earned from Vanguard, Crucible and Gambit ranks, is untiered Legacy Gear at the Monument to Lost Lights; this page covers the Solo Ops version.

• Chivalric Fire through the Weapon Perks option: a roll with random perks (1 to 30 rolls), a roll with 1 chosen perk, or a God Roll with 2 chosen perks.
• For a chosen perk you tell the pro player which perk you want, for example Dimensional Shift; for the God Roll you name two, for example Dimensional Shift with Energy Transfer.
• Weapon Tier: Tier 3, Tier 4 or Tier 5. Higher tiers add perks and enhanced mods; Tier 5 adds special traits.

• An active Destiny 2 account.

Can I attune to Chivalric Fire?

Yes. Attuning raises its drop chance from the Solo Ops activity, and that activity's attunement menu holds one weapon at a time.

What does a chosen perk mean for Chivalric Fire?

With a roll with 1 chosen perk the pro player aims for one perk you name, such as Tilting at Windmills; with a God Roll with 2 chosen perks you name two that must sit on the same weapon, such as Tilting at Windmills and Energy Transfer.
