Hraesveglur Gjallarhorn Ornament

The game data describes Hraesveglur as an ornament you equip on Gjallarhorn to change its appearance. Once you get an ornament, it is unlocked for all characters on your account.

It is a cosmetic only, so it does not alter the Wolfpack Rounds perk or any other trait of the rocket launcher.

The reward is attached to a triumph called The Richest Dead Man Alive, whose description asks you to recover Wilhelm-7's messages. Those messages are scattered through the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, which comes with the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. The Eternity vendors, Xûr and Starhorse, then offer the ornament to accounts that completed that triumph.

Because the ornament needs Gjallarhorn to be worn, the lot asks if the account already has the launcher, and adds an option to obtain the Gjallarhorn catalyst.

Gjallarhorn and its catalyst belong to the same pack, so the ornament and the launcher share one content source.

• Hraesveglur Gjallarhorn Ornament added to your account.
• Difficulty: one choice for accounts that already own Gjallarhorn and one for accounts that have not obtained it yet. Options: add Catalyst obtain for Gjallarhorn. Extras: Self-play (Sherpa).

• The Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack on the account.

Does the ornament change Gjallarhorn's perks?

No. It is only a new appearance for the same Exotic Rocket Launcher.

Do I need Gjallarhorn first?

To use the ornament, yes. The lot's Difficulty option covers accounts that already have it and accounts that do not.
