Iron Banner Event

Iron Banner is live for one week out of every four, from one weekly reset to the next. On that cadence the October 2026 window runs from 20 to 27 October and the next one from 17 to 24 November. Update 9.7.0 kept the Iron Banner Event Card but did not restore its reputation rank reward track. MVP and additional loot rewards drop an Iron Banner weapon, and Saladin focuses tiered Iron Banner gear with Iron Banner Ciphers earned from finishing matches.

Two armor sets belong to the event. Iron Battalion gives Primary Honing at two pieces, a handling and reload bonus for Primary ammo weapons, and Supercyclical at four, which refunds Super energy after final blows during a Super. Iron Panoply gives Vigilant Watch and Iron Conviction, which strengthen weapons as health drops and add resistance after a shield break.

• Completion Type: Play Matches (5 to 150 on the Matches slider), Event Rank Boost (1 to 15 on the Rank slider) or Event Challenges.
• For challenges, a tick box for the 3 Daily Challenges and one for the Weekly Challenge. Challenges unlock day by day from Tuesday to Friday.
• Progress toward the Iron Lord title, which is still in the active Titles list.
• Iron Banner Ciphers, loot and weapons from the matches, and a Self-play (Sherpa) extra.

• An active Destiny 2 account.
• Iron Banner must be live when the order starts.
• Free-to-play accounts need SMS verification to enter Iron Banner.
