The Nightmare of Caiatl is the last boss of the Duality dungeon in Destiny 2. This lot skips the lead-up and runs the final fight for you, on Normal or on Master difficulty, as many times as you set, and the Heartshadow sword can be added as an extra.

What the last boss gives
- Duality drops six Legendary weapons: Stormchaser, Lingering Dread, Unforgiven, New Purpose, The Epicurean and Fixed Odds.
- The Exotic is Heartshadow, a Void sword; its catalyst is acquired in the dungeon too, and the Exotic ship Mandate of Strength drops there as well.
- Duality armor is the Deep Explorer set, with the Built Bitter and Bittersweet set bonuses.
- Update 9.7.0 gave Master dungeons Tier 5 weapons and armor, while a Normal run pays Tier 3 gear unless Duality is the featured dungeon of the week, when it pays Tier 5.
Triumphs around the fight
The dungeon's triumph line starts with Thoughtstealer (complete the dungeon) and runs on to Flawless Thoughtstealer, Solo Thoughtstealer, Perfected Thoughtstealer (solo without dying) and Master Thoughtstealer, with further records for fireteams of one subclass or one class.
